Casey said the family company is also receiving other export opportunities through Switzerland and the US.
On each cap shipped abroad is printed ‘Born of Promise’.
“This was put on by my label designer after I explained to him that about 20 years ago I promised myself that one daywe would produce a whisky for the world market,” Casey said.
“I suppose this initial export order makes that promise real.”
