Every year Whisky guru Jim Murray releases his whisky “bible”, and crowns the worlds best whiskies and whiskeys in varying classes from around the world – this year, Tasmanian Independant Bottler and master whisky tinkerer “Heartwood Malt Whisky” owned by Tim Duckett, has claimed the 2016 Southern Hemisphere Whisky of the Year award. Adding to Tasmanias already heavily awarded world class whiskies such as Lark, Sullivans Cove, Nant and Hellyers Road.
