suntory releases limited edition the rolling stones 50th anniversary whisky ctvl3To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the formation of the world-famous rock band The Rolling Stones, Suntory Liquors will release a limited edition of its blended whisky Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary Whisky as part of the Stones Bar series on October 30, limited to 150 bottles.

Suntory has received high praise for its new cross-category Stones Bar series (including beer, cocktails, and highballs) featuring The Rolling Stones’ iconic lips and tongue logo, launched on June 19.

Now, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the formation of this legendary rock band, Suntory will release a new blended whisky, The Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary Whisky as part of the Stones Bar series.

Rye1Diageo Australia welcomes the arrival of Bulleit Rye, a straight small batch American rye whiskey inspired by a 150-year-old recipe.

Crafted from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, Bulleit Rye has the highest rye content of any American whiskey available on the Australian market, making it sought after by bartenders worldwide.

Bulleit Rye fully matures in new white American oak barrels for between five and seven years, giving it a light, sweet flavour. Amber in appearance, it displays appealing biscuit aromas with hints of spice, with white raisins and dried apricots on the nose and smooth, dry notes of maple and oak on the palate.
